The agricultural estate "Signano" was purchased by the Biagini family in 1961. At present, the estate covers 30 hectares (about 74 acres) with a beautiful, direct view of the town of San Gimignano. The boutique winery produces only about 20,000 cases of wine, half of which is Tuscany's legendary white, Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano

White Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a classic wine. We are told that is Michelangelo's favorite. 100% Vernaccia di San Gimignano vine. Entirely cold fermented in stainless steel tanks, Biagini Vernaccia di San Gimignano is clean, pale, flowery crisp, fresh and fruity. It you like California Sauvignon

Blanc or a fine Graves you will love this wine. Enjoy it young and chilled with seafood, poultry or veal. Only about 1,000 cases are produces. Fewer than 500 cases make their way to the USA. In 1643 Michelangelo Buonarroti said of Vernaccia di San Gimignano, it kisses, licks, bites, pinches, and stings.
